Executive directors or CEOs occasionally need help adjusting to new roles with donors, board members, board committees and staff and with identifying and setting priorities. This is particularly true when the new ED/CEO is expected to increase fundraising quickly or make significant organizational changes. 

Board members often do not have the time and rarely have hands-on nonprofit management experience necessary for the kind of intensive mentoring that's needed. EMD provides management coaching on a retainer basis or on a more limited project basis.
