Feasibility Studies
The most immediate outcome of a feasibity study usually is a recommendation about whether or not to launch a capital campaign and, if so, the amount that the organization could raise.
But a good feasibility study does more. It defines likely givers by type, includes a prospect list with estimates of how much key prospects might donate, gives recommendations about campaign messages and lists candidates for the campaign committee. The study also describes the work and effort that a capital campaign would require from the board and staff, a time line and other recommendations.
At EMD, we also do economic feasibility studies that look into the possibilities of increasing earned income. Click to see our description of how that process works to decide if that's what you need.
